Suggested Day Wise Itinerary:
DAY 1: Amritsar-Dharamshala:
Upon reaching Amritsar Airport/Railway station, our representative will meet you and drive you to Dharamshala (220km), your first destination in Himachal Pradesh. After reaching Dharamshala, check into the hotel, leisurely spend the day, have dinner at the hotel, and stay overnight.
DAY 2: McLeod Ganj:
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and head toward McLeod Ganj, the upper part of Dharamshala known for Tibetan culture. Explore the Bhagsunath Temple, Bhagsunath Waterfalls, and Dalai Lama Temple. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of McLeod Ganj, known for its cafes and shops.
DAY 3: Dharamshala-Dalhousie:
In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, start your journey to the next part of this trip – Dalhousie, a beautiful and charming hill station nestled in the Dhauladhar Mountain Range (120km/4hr). Complete the hotel check-in, have some rest, and enjoy the evening on Mall Road. Return to the hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight.
DAY 4: Dalhousie Sightseeing:
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and embark on a scenic drive to Kalatop, enjoying the beautiful landscape en route. Explore the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, take a natural walk, and enjoy the surrounding mountains and valleys. Then visit Khajjiar – a Mini Switzerland of India. Explore the lush meadows, Khajjiar Lake, and the landscape or engage in activities or simply relax. Next, visit Satdhara Waterfalls known for its seven beautiful cascades. DAY 5: Dalhousie-Amritsar
Have breakfast before checking out from the hotel and start your journey toward Amritsar (200km). After reaching Amritsar, check into the hotel and proceed to the Wagah Border retreat ceremony and Golden Temple if time permits. Return to the hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight.
DAY 6: Departure:
After breakfast, check out from the hotel, concluding your memorable trip of Himachal Pradesh. Head back to the airport/railway station to return to your homeland.
