Suggested Day Wise Itinerary:
DAY 1: Guwahati – Tezpur:
Upon arrival at Guwahati Railway station/Airport, our representative will be there to meet and warmly welcome you. We will then start a journey toward Tezpur (130 km/3 hr). After reaching Tezpur, proceed to the hotel for a hassle-free check-in. Complete the check-in and stay overnight in Tezpur.
DAY 2: Tezpur – Dirang:
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start a scenic journey toward Dirang (approx. 185 km/6 hr). During this journey, make a stop and visit Tipi Orchid Center and Hot Water Spring. Continue driving to the hotel in Dirang, complete the check-in upon arrival, and spend the night in Dirang.
DAY 3: Dirang – Tawang:
After breakfast, start a scenic drive to Tawang (155 km/6 hr). Enjoy the scenic views along the way. Visit the snow-capped Sella Pass at 14,000 ft, which is likely to offer a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and landscapes. Also, visit the Jaswant Ghar War Memorial, dedicated to Jaswant Singh Rawat, a brave soldier of the Indian Army who fought a lone battle against China during the 1962 war. Check in at the hotel upon arrival in Tawang. Spend the night in Tawang.
DAY 4: Tawang:
After breakfast at the hotel, start a sightseeing tour of Tawang, including the Golden Namgyal Lhatse Monastery, which stands as one of the largest Lama series in Asia, featuring the awe-inspiring 18ft high statue of Lord Buddha. Explore the historical significance of being the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama and visit Natural Splendor, the Land of Dawn-lit Mountains. Also, visit the Monastery and War Memorial. Enjoy a leisurely evening with free time for shopping. Return to the hotel and stay overnight in Tawang.
DAY 5: Tawang – Bomdila:
Start your day early, and after breakfast, head toward Bomdila on a scenic drive of 180 km. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. Explore the cultural richness of the region and visit the Bomdila Monastery. The evening will be yours to enjoy at leisure. Stay overnight in Bomdila.
DAY 6: Bomdila – Guwahati:
In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, complete the check-out process and enjoy a scenic long drive from Bomdila to Guwahati (the drive is approximately 180 km). Upon arrival in Guwahati, check in at the hotel and relax. Stay overnight in Guwahati.
DAY 7: Departure:
In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and head toward Guwahati Airport/Guwahati Railway station to end this mesmerizing tour of the Northeast.
